Purpose of the position Activities related to finance in Poland in MacGregor organization (GSD and ESD division). Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The position is temporary to replace an employee on maternity leave. Work location: office in Gdynia.Main tasks and responsibilities Assist regional controller with month/quarterly/yearly reporting. Assist in forecasting, budget and annual closing. Involved in common cost planning in cooperation with the Regional controller. Responsible for cost center (GCP) updates/support. Communication and cooperation with CBS Finance team: Communication with RTR including Control and coordinate with RTR for in/out payments on bank (treasury back office). Support with Basware review, approvals and training. Maintaining database from MacGregor suppliers and customers in Cargotec Service Portal. Requests for manual payments: prepayments, urgent payments etc., preparation and distribution of payment confirmations. AR follow up in cooperation with OTC. AP follow up with ITP and Capgemini. Support given by Finance and adm assistant. AP follow up by monitoring AP processing system and follow up responsible users, executed by Finance and adm assistant. Communication with MacGregor suppliers with relation to invoice correctness, requested credit notes and other miscellaneous discrepancies or reconciliation. Checking employees database in cooperation with Finance and HR department. Cooperation with local finance team (Chief Accountant and Finance and Administration assistant) on: Improvement in payment reviews and approvals. Cooperation and backup. Maintain and control the Fixed Asset register. (Assuring fixed assets control over all related processes). Other finance ad hoc tasks. Constant care for the high quality of own work and the search for solutions that increase its efficiency. What you’ll need to succeed University degree in accounting/administration, or equal qualification. 2+ years of experience in relevant finance roles. Good spoken and written Polish & English. An asset would be knowledge of financial systems such as ONE SAP, HFM. Organization skills accompanied with tasks prioritization ability. Willingness to improve current ways of working, tools, methods and processes. Good communication skills and willingness to communicate and coordinate with different stakeholders.
