As we continue to expand our footprint, we're seeking a dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our existing business operations in India and spearhead our entry into new markets . Key Responsibilities: Lead and Expand Existing Operations: Take charge of our current business operations in India , ensuring sustained growth and operational excellence. Market Expansion : Identify and evaluate new emerging markets for Paycord’s products and services, conducting comprehensive market research to determine the most viable opportunities. Payment Solution s Expertise: Research and understand the most popular payment method s and the eCommerce landscape in targeted markets, presenting findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders. Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing business development and account management team to support our expansion efforts. Partner and Merchant Acquisition: Identify and establish relationships with payment providers and potential merchant s in new markets , ensuring alignment with Paycord’s strategic goals. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors’ payment method s, transaction flows, limits, and provider relationships to develop competitive advantages. Negotiations and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms with payment providers and oversee contract management, ensuring business fit and long-term value. Industry Engagement: Represent Paycord at industry conferences, events, and business trips, particularly in target markets, to build partnership s and stay ahead of market trends. Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen both formal and informal relationships with existing and potential partners, continuously testing and optimizing new products and services. Strategic Vision: Develop and own the billing strategy, setting clear long-term goals and actionable plans to achieve them. Required Skills and Expertise: Proven Experience: 4+ years in  Business Development  within the PSP or high-risk industries. C-Level Expertise: Skilled in high-level business discussions, particularly with C-level executives. Market Expertise:  Strong expertise working with Indian market and experience in exploring and entering new regions, with a strong track record of business expansion . Contractual and Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of contractual relations, corporate cash flow, and financial principles. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with online payment integrations, transaction funnels, and process flows. Travel-Ready: Willingness to undertake business trips, including extended stays, to explore and establish presence in new regions. Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills, with the ability to conduct complex business discussions. Soft Skills Requirements: A-player with a positive mindset and ability to act with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty; Excellent presentation skills; Extraordinary communication and negotiation skills; Multitasking, time management, and planning skills; Excellent organizational skills.
