Associate Director - Balance Sheet Forecasting Platforms Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Your responsibilities We are looking for a talented individual to play a frontline role, who can integrate deep business knowledge, excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills to drive optimal analytical / forecasting solutions for the bank. A successful candidate will work closely with various global Treasury / business stakeholders to understand business intents, translate into clear requirements / user stories, communicate business scope & methodology to project teams, and ensure that final deliverables are fit-for-purpose and generate concrete business benefits. Reach out to key global Finance / Treasury / Business stakeholders to understand business intents / pain points, synthesize information to articulate business methodology and intended business benefits. Translate high-level business intents into user stories, recommend feasible and scalable analytics approach to stakeholders, incorporating data/system constraints and platform capabilities. Turn user stories into functional designs and advanced prototypes, then work directly with development teams to deliver solutions addressing business needs. Communicate effectively to senior management and at working group levels. Actively participate in Agile project squads, clearly communicate business requirements / methodology to data engineers, programmers, etc. Drive scalability of business methodology / functionality applied across key initiatives, while accommodating for customization needs (e.g. key products / markets) with justifiable business benefits. Review and validate solution prior to implementation to ensure that it is fit-for-purpose (i.e. aligned with agreed business methodology to deliver intended outcome). Work closely with Platform Lead / Scrum master to provide business inputs for strategic planning. Ensure proper transition from project deliverables into robust BAU process with minimal incremental BAU resourcing asks. Discuss with stakeholders on BAU scope / budgeting as needed. Our requirements 5+ year experience and proven knowledge in Capital / Treasury / IRRBB / ALM in top-tier banks / large corporations. Working knowledge of capital management, balance sheet simulations and forecasting. Strong understanding of capital components (CET1, AT1, etc.), commercial balance sheet products, data, and key metrics. Experiences identifying key gaps and business materiality given complex system / data landscape. Degree in Finance / Economics / quantitative fields. CFA / FRM designation is highly beneficial. Experiences with analytical / visualization tools (e.g. Dataiku) and SAP suite is highly beneficial. Self-starter; work through ambiguity to recommend business methodology / analytics options based on materiality and best available information. Foster strong trust with stakeholders; be pragmatic when handle challenging stakeholder conversations. Adjust communication styles to suit audience needs (e.g. seniority and business vs. technical domains). Strive optimal balance between quality of delivery and effort/time spent. Help review work and provide guidance / feedbacks to junior members of the team. Experiences working in Agile setup, multi-cultural team, and wide range of stakeholders is essential.
