Job Description Position Summary: Under the direction of a senior Business Engineer and/or a Portfolio Program Manager, this position focuses on executing the organization's operations and alignment with the Verisk’s strategic goals, while driving improvement, understanding, and results. The Project Manager is the trusted advisor who will work with many cross-functional teams and leaders to communicate, align resources, and establish metric-driven goals to ensure Verisk’s long-term success and growth plans. This position helps integrate strategy and execution across the enterprise and within specific divisions as well act as a client focused leader with a growth mindset across a matrixed organization, working in close collaboration with stakeholders. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the business, facilitate discussion, and provide recommendations to leadership as appropriate. Responsibilities, Work Details and Deliverables: Excel in addressing and managing the expectations of varied stakeholder personalities with diverse management and leadership styles; be responsive to those expectations by flexing, facilitating, and incorporating feedback as appropriate.   In close collaboration with stakeholders, help to define success criteria for assigned projects and report on success criteria results and metrics.   Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including executives, managers, and IT teams, to ensure alignment with business objectives.   Leveraging best agile practices, work within project management tools (including, but not limited to, Sharepoint and MS Teams, Planview), and provide ad hoc statistics on projects as requested by leadership.   Support and identify interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.   Help defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business initiatives. Effectively communicating business architecture concepts and strategies to diverse audiences. Helps define scope and establishes standards and best practices for team's deliverables and develops relationships within organization.   Support the business architecture practice and its governance, maintaining standards and best practices for team's deliverables and develops relationships within our organization.   Help to collect information on our business and map domains (including capabilities, value streams, information, and organization) according to the business architecture framework to gain insights.   Evaluating data and information flows to ensure accurate decision-making and reporting.   Technology Integration: Help assessing and integrating technology solutions to support business needs.   Maintain documentation related to business processes, systems, and architecture. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with business changes and ensuring compliance with regulations.   Analyzing and designing efficient business processes to improve productivity and effectiveness.   Identifies opportunities for improvement in the form of cost savings, process improvements, or technology consolidation by levering capabilities in new way. Process Improvement experience and/or certification ideal.   Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices. Moreover:  Managing the transition from current to future state, including assessing impacts and implementing change management strategies. Qualifications Project Management: Knowledge of basic project management principles to support initiatives. 1-3 years of project management experience on projects within a matrix environment.   Business acumen: Understand the organization's goals, strategy, and industry trends. Experience with product management and leadership, with preference given to those with exposure to the property and casualty insurance industry.   Communication: Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders. Best-in-class communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), along with excellent negotiation, facilitation, consultative, and interpersonal ability.   Problem Solving: Analytical thinking to identify and solve business challenges. A drive for results and demonstrated accountability for planning and executing on business needs.   Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments. Ability to work under pressure; thrives in stressful or demanding conditions that may arise within assigned projects. Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve business objectives.   Continuous Learning: Keeping up with evolving business and technology trends.   Strategic Thinking: Support alignment of business architecture with long-term goals.   Collaboration: Working effectively within cross-functional teams.   Presentation Skills: Ability to create compelling presentations and reports.   Process Modeling & Data Analysis:  Experience in modeling and documenting business processes and ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.   Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating business risks.   Ethical Decision-Making: Maintaining high ethical standards in business practices.   Legal and Regulatory Awareness: Basic understanding of relevant laws and regulations. Moreover:  English at minimum C1 level spoken and written  Willingness & eligibility to work as a full-time employee in a hybrid model from the Cracow-based office. PMP or professional project management or  Agile certification would be a strong asset.
