Senior Payroll Operations Manager - Europe Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities Manage and monitor End-to-End payroll operations, providing input, evaluating output, applying payroll controls, executing post payroll activities, for the countries in scope to ensure effective, accurate and timely execution of all operational activities with outstanding quality. Safeguard legal compliance and adherence to company policies by maintaining, monitoring, and executing payroll controls according to agreed Risk and Control Matrix and local policies. Process all equity and mobility transactions in accordance with local tax regulations. Coordinate payroll activities with other departments/functions to ensure delivery of high-quality service and to resolve operational problems. Ensure payroll results are timely posted in General Ledger, support financial reconciliation of payroll related items. Compile, report and track payroll KPIs according to agreed schedule creating and executing preventive and corrective actions where required. Lead payroll related audits, initiatives and projects designed to implement or improve payroll programs and services. Manage high performing Payroll Operations team based in Lodz, Poland identifying and developing talent, safeguarding cross coverage and business continuity plans. Drive continuous improvement ensuring consistent focus in driving efficiencies, process improvements and enhancements of employee experience ensuring Daily Huddle meetings are effectively executed daily. Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g. TAX, Social Security, etc. Our requirements College degree or equivalent 7+ years of experience in a payroll position 3+years of experience supervising an operational payroll team, including the ability to display leadership, motivate and develop a high performing team. Deep understanding of payroll principles, concepts, industry practices and standards Understanding of equity and mobility programs Knowledge of HR policies and procedures Strong Excel skills Strategic mindset and the ability to deliver change successfully. Business fluency in English Optional Experience in HR Operations, OR Shared Services, OR HR functional experience. Knowledge of Workday Payroll certification. He/she can seek and expect guidance from immediate manager and senior colleagues, but remain an active team player towards the rest of the team. The Tactical Buyer is expected to deal with vendors and internal stakeholders, have a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills and high quality of deliverables.
