In this opportunity as a Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions Risk, you will be supporting business stakeholders in decision-making by providing them with timely and relevant information to maximize value and minimize the risk associated with strategy, mergers and acquisitions activities.This role provides focused risk management support on Thomson Reuters mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities. Please read the role requirements carefully.About the RoleThis role will be responsible for managing risk related to acquisitions within Thomson Reuters. The role will partner with business units on acquisitions by providing risk assessment support during due diligence phases, while ensuring compliance with Thomson Reuters’ enterprise-wide Risk Policy and Standards. This includes leading risk workshops, documenting risks in risk registers, and preparing reports summarizing key risks associated with acquisitions. The role will also identify opportunities to improve decision making through enhanced risk awareness and education across Thomson Reuters.Support Director, Enterprise Risk Management with independent reviewing and challenging risk mitigation efforts for various initiatives across functions including Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions Office.Oversee the integration of the ERM Framework within the functions and segments you support (e.g. Strategy), facilitating key risk activities by implementing consistent, regular, and repeatable processes e.g risk assessments.Provide oversight and constructive challenge to ensure that risks across the various functions and segments are being effectively managed in alignment with established practices and risk appetite.Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts within and outside the organization.Lead the development and execution of a risk culture strategy for the segments with the aim of spreading risk awareness across TR by engaging senior executives and educating employees on the importance of ERM, and drive enterprise-level activities focusing on the advancement of risk accountability and culture.About You:Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.Strong experience and knowledge in Mergers & Acquisitions, Due Diligence and Integration.Hands on Experience into Risk Management, Risk Analysis & Risk Reporting is mandate.#LI-AM1What's in it For You?
