This role is crucial in maintaining and continuously improving Knauf’s ability to proactively identify relevant cyber security threats in dynamic cybersecurity landscape and ensures effective detection of these threats early in the attack attempts targeting our attack surface. Through leadership and in-depth understanding of top solutions, best practices and latest concepts, you will enable the team of Threat Intelligence Analysts, Threat Hunters and Threat Detection Engineers, to establish and maintain industry leading capabilities in the international organization. What you'll do Lead and manage the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Detection Team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to SLAs. Oversee the implementation, execution and optimization of the cyber threat intelligence and detection program, aiming identification, analysis, detection and mitigation of information security threats and risks to Knauf Group. Supervise the development and delivery of tactical and operational Threat Intelligence Products and ensure timely dissemination to stakeholders. Communicate strategic threat insights effectively to senior leadership and other relevant recipients across organization. Manage team capacity and resources to adequately support other CDC functions with threat intelligence, threat hunting, and threat detection and assurance. Provide direct supervision and support for Cyber Security Threat Intel Analysts, Threat Hunters, Threat Detection Engineers and other team members Optimize existing processes, develop and implement new procedures, ensure up-to-date knowledge of direct reports and propose changes to the organization and department to enhance our capabilities and maintain high maturity in the cyber defense area. Who you are You have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role. You have strong technical and troubleshooting abilities, with in-depth experience in cybersecurity, particularly in threat hunting, threat intelligence, and threat detection. You excel at communicating security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and can interact professionally with staff, peers, and internal customers at all levels including leadership. You possess excellent people-management skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams. You thrive in high-stress environments and can maintain composure while handling critical incidents. You hold a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience (5-7 years), with prior experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence and/or Cyber Threat Detection in an organization with international operations. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus. You are fluent with leading Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Threat Detection technologies, best practices, concepts and frameworks.
