Come be a part of this journey!BAT POLAND IS LOOKING FOR A SMD AREA MANAGER*SMD - Secondary Manufacturing DepartmentSENIORITY LEVEL: Senior LevelFUNCTION: OperationsSALARY RANGE: competitive salary+ excellent benefits + market leading bonusLOCATION: Augustów, PolandREPORTS TO: Production ManagerACCOUNTABILITIES Ownership for targets delivery in accordance with Co Plan and the factory Master PlanResponsibility for setting up direction and tracking the results within the subordinate area within:annual SDDS (Strategy Development and Deployment System) process;realization of initiatives in accordance with Master Plan;PDCA (Plan Do Check Action ) process realization;representing the area on factory operational DDS ( Direct Daily System );correct operation of DDS at the area, mini-factories and line structures levels.Ownership for people related processes within area of responsibility:managing managers;role modelling and coaching subordinates within people management (setting objectives, regular reviews in form of 1:1 mtg, performance assessment, development plans, succession planning/pipeline ;assuring adequate trainings if needed / owning a selected skill block.Other responsibilities resulting from ownership for a given production area, .:following E&HS rules;optimization of processes, reapplication of good practices;elimination of chronic losses: both day-to-day execution and elimination of recurring losses within a few structures (horizontally);leading as Start Up Leader of Cap 2 and Cap 3 projects; ensuring a correct process for introduction of changes within an area (Change Management);responsible for the Area budget.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGEProduction processes knowledge + IWS knowledge;Leadership skills and coaching skills;Communication and effective knowledge skills;Conflict-solving skills;Ability to prioritize and make decisions in cpmplex situations;Proficiency in written and spoken English;Proficiency in written and spoken Polish is an advantage.WE ARE BATAt BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
