Senior Manager - Delivery & Strategy Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities Content Preparation: Design high quality presentations and visuals suitable to diverse range of audiences. Ensure consistency in messaging and content across deliverables throughout DAO, locally and globally. Input to Committees and Governance: Support in leading the smooth running of the DAO Governance process to enable GCDAO to govern Data & Analytics for the Group (Internal and External). Take a leading role in managing internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely inputs, and support with management and delivery of all requirements. Delivery & Strategy Responsibilities: Leading strategic initiatives within DAO Delivery and Strategy and for the wider DAO organisation, helping develop a community of data professionals and involvement in activity relating to the DAO Group Data Execution Programme and coordination of wider Delivery & Strategy activities and deliverables. Industry Insights: Support the Head of Governance, Standards, and Insights to provide industry insight for the GCDAO and ExCo to remain aware of critical Industry changes. This will include gathering/cataloguing one-off and regular industry insights and trends, monitoring the regulatory landscape, industry analysis and scanning, and secondary research. Continuous Improvement: Play a role in leading the continuing development, implementation, and improvement of processes across Delivery & Strategy and the wider DAO function at HSBC. Our requirements Familiarity with financial services organizations and more specifically HSBC’s structures, values, behaviors, processes, and objectives. Previous experience in working within Governance teams, or on Governance activity for programs/projects. Project/Change Management skills (project planning and tracking; Issue identification and management; project status reporting). Proven experience of impactful writing/messaging and creation of content across a variety of topics. Strong stakeholder management skills. Evidence of problem solving and ability to anticipate challenges. Ability to plan and organize, understanding how to effectively prioritize to balance conflicting demands. Ability to work collaboratively within an immediate team and cross functionally. Active interest in the broader industry and the current state of data management governance trends. About the role The Senior Manager, DAO Delivery & Strategy is a new role which will support all pillars of the DAO strategy and form part of an expanding team which has been created within the Delivery & Strategy department, largely due to the expanded and critical remit of GCDAO and the Data Executive Committee globally. This is a cross functional role within the Delivery & Strategy team which will focus on Governance, but also cover responsibilities within Function Management & Change Delivery.
