Demand Planning Specialist Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities Creating quarterly operational forecasts; Interpret historical data, and custom values to improve forecasting accuracy; Conducting monthly meetings focused on reducing statistical error and promoting continuous optimization in demand planning; Conducting weekly meetings with the Planning Department (Supply, Implementation, and Innovation Planning) to discuss production plans and exception handling; Coordinating the timely updating of data in the system; Maintaining the forecasting strategy in SAP; Support the implementation of innovation plans by category, defining volumes, stocks, and sales opening strategy; Ensure and drive the upkeep and maintenance of process documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems by the team; Work with innovation, and marketing teams to manage new product launches and transition planning, and maintain the innovation library. Our requirements University degree; Strong knowledge of demand planning processes such as baselining, best-fit modeling, forecast enrichment, outlier correction, promotions, events, trends, forecast lags, forecast accuracy/bias, etc.; Good knowledge of various statistical forecasting and inventory optimization techniques; Functional experience in forecasting tools – SAP (or others, it will be the advantage); Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics: inventory turns, service levels, safety stock, classes of inventory, etc.; English must (min.
