Commodity Manager Miejsce pracy: Katowice Your responsibilities Develop and refine the sourcing strategy using input from global Sourcing Managers and regional business leaders Improve implementation of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities. The Manager will also establish working relationships within the departments, bringing a strategic sourcing perspective to all main processes Commodity Manager will lead and increase results of specific sourcing projects within assigned commodities and must be successful at managing and influencing a team. Frequently will work with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others; might conduct presentations of technical project activities On an ongoing basis, the Manager will monitor and evaluate supplier performance (observing Sourcing Balanced Scorecard) of the suppliers related to assigned commodities. Assess risk according to global procedures, conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and partners to ensure continuous improvement of the supply base Manager will be responsible for monthly reporting to senior management on goals within the supply chain. These Goals are aligned with Balanced Scorecard The Manager will identify and improve productivity improvements by leading joint supplier / unit teams - pursuing TCO reduction opportunities according to the sourcing strategy Identify strategic sourcing best practices and lead these best practices into the Rockwell strategic sourcing toolkit and sourcing strategies Ensure familiarity with company procedures.
