General Manager - Packaging Sector

• Overall leadership in company operations, encompassing M&A projects and greenfield initiatives.
• Represent the company at senior levels within the customer base to ensure that relationships are maintained and enhanced as an aid to achieving sales targets.
• Develop key metrics for all departments to deliver commercial and operational outcomes.
• Development and implementation of strategies for new business areas to increase the company's market share.
• Continuously improve operational processes, workflows, and efficiency across all business functions, aiming for cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support continuous improvement. performance and process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Investigate new product development and revenue opportunities.
• Drive an employee engagement agenda working with a continuous improvement mind-set
• Represent the company internally and externally towards business partners and authorities
• Implementing commercial plan and development of the operations of the business

• Minimum 10 years of experience in packaging sector at a senior management level
• 5-10 years of operations P&L / general management responsibility, as well as of operational and strategic commercial experience.
• Experienced commercial negotiator in a competitive environment.
• Flexible packaging knowledge preferred.
• Native polish language speaker and fluent English
• Strong and collaborative communicator capable of building relationships. Able to influence and marshal buy-in from colleagues at all levels.
• Highly results-oriented and focused on bringing strategies to implementation. Capable of developing clear plans, setting milestones, and delivering change in complex environments.
• Proven leadership experience. Ability to motivate and guide team members throughout the organization, and to maintain efficient and productive work relationships.
