Statutory Reporting Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing local statutory accounting and reporting processes for the assigned countries in EMEA region. Region: Kraków, małopolskie Requirements Strong accounting expertise, able to act as focal point between different stakeholders, multitask and meet fixed deadlinesAccounting and statutory reporting experience in an international environmentExperience in managing full local statutory compliance process for selected European countriesStrong computer skills, particular experience with Excel and SAPProfessional proficiency of English, German language would be an assetACCA qualification or equivalent is a plusAbility to multitask and deal with time constraints while effectively managing deadlinesA sound business sense with excellent numerical skillsDemonstrated continuous improvement mindset and drive for excellence Responsibilities Prepare statutory filings adhering to Local GAAP requirements, including all notes and disclosuresReconcile between local GAAP and IFRS, including local GAAP account reconciliationsCoordinate calendars with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and service providersProvide support for external audits, liaising with auditors and managing audit deliverablesManage the statutory calendar and support local tax provision calculation and income tax return processesInterpret and implement local accounting policies/standardsHandle miscellaneous reporting filings, such as statistical reportingIdentify improvement opportunities and drive implementation for compliance, quality, and process efficiencyExternal Audit support, liaison with external auditors and coordination of audit deliverables We offer Hybrid work systemModern office facilityPrivate healthcare for the employees and their familyLife insuranceGym card (MULTISPORT)Internal career development opportunities in multiple business areasAdditional days off (24th and 31st of December)Christmas gifts (pre-paid cards)
